God is forever present to his Creation like Zero Point Energy is a pervasive presence in the cosmic order. He is always touching his creation with his healing love but many time we, his rebellious children, are not consciously aware of his loving presence. We take God for granted and so fail to touch him with our prayers.

Before a word is on my tongue Lord, You have known its meaning through and through. You are with me beyond my understanding: God of my, my past and future, too. 5. When we pray either in words, thought and even without thoughts by merely living in God's presence, we are touching God with our conscious self. "Prayer is energy - Prayer is connection - attunement to the Divine. It is the communication with the "Breath", the "Life Force" of all creation, and is an expression of the love between created and the Creator." (Linda L. Smith, Called Into Healing, p. 89)

We may not be healed physically but in prayer we learn to abandon ourselves to God's will in the realization that God loves us.

Here I am again Lord, at the foot of Your cross, so thankful that you love me just the way I am -imperfect and broken. Mend me and fill me with Your love and grace my Lord. Amen. (Dr. Robert H. Schuller)

Our greatest suffering is the realization that we must die. It is an idea always present in the back of our minds which brings us discomfort. God is not the author of death, we are and in his mercy has shown us to give it meaning by suffering in union with his Son who died for us on the Cross. St. Alphonsus Liguori has written a prayer as follows:

My beloved Jesus, I accept in particular the death that is destined for me with all the pains that may accompany it. I unite it to Your death and I offer it to You. You who have died for me; I will die for love of You and to please You. Help me by Your grace. I love You my Jesus, my Love; I repent for having offended You.
