Human culture is a complex of feelings, ideas, aspirations and values embodied in institutions and the arts of a people. Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life" implying that the human heart is actively seeking the ultimate meanings of these desires.

Looking at the pre-Christian world we see China bent toward the Way, Greece seeking Truth and Egypt with its eyes fixed on unending Life.
